Dr. Lillian Craggs-Dino is a nationally and internationally known Registered and Licensed Dietitian with more than 20 years professional experience in bariatric nutrition. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. In addition to her private consulting company, she is an adjunct assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine Nutrition Program and Allopathic Medical School. She currently serves on the Executive Council for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Integrated Health (ASMBS-IH), and she is the past Co-Chair of the ASMBS-IH Florida, Puerto Rico, and Caribbean Chapter. She is also a Level II Advanced Practice Bariatric Dietitian and Support Group Coordinator for a renowned Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program in South Florida.

Dr. Lillian is the Co-chair for the Integrated Health Clinical Issues and Guidelines (IHCIG) Committee of ASMBS, she is a co-author of the Metoblic and Bariatric Surgery Nutriton Guidelines, and she is a member of the Integrated Health Support Group Committee with ASMBS. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) where she served as a committee member of the Evidence Analysis Library (EAL) for Bariatric Surgery. She is Co-Director for the Nominating Committee for the Weight Management Dietietic Practice Group with the AND. She is a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) and immerses herself in the field of weight management, wellness, and nutrition-related disease prevention and treatment.

She is a highly sought after presenter, lecturer, faculty and practitioner. Dr. Lillian has received numerous awards including Outstanding Professional Leadership, Outstanding Scholarship Achievement, and Collegiate Leadership Award. In 2021, she was the recipient of the prestigious LEAD Award for Excellence in Nutrition, given by the ASMBS Foundation. She has written several publications on bariatric nutrition including the 2016 ASMBS Nutrition Guidelines. Dr. Lillian is truly recognized as a proven leader and forward-thinker in the field of bariatric nutrition.

On a personal note, she is happily married to Steven for 25 years. She does not have any children, but she devoted to her furry “sons” Samson and Valentino, her gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and Cosmo, her quirky and lovable English Staffordshire Terrier. She is known to include pictures of her “sons” in her professional presentations to the delight of the attendees. Dr. Lillian is highly spiritual and has a close and special relationship with her heavenly Father. She finds solace, peace, and inner happiness when she is “one with nature” with her hobbies of gardening, bike riding, hiking, and swimming.
